Sea buckthorn contains a lot of vitamin E, K, and beta-carotene, as well as calcium and potassium. These berries have an antioxidant effect, heal wounds well, tone and rejuvenate the skin.
Masks made from fresh sea buckthorn berries are recommended to be made 1-2 times a week. Then the beauty of your skin can only be envied!
Sea buckthorn masks for dry skin
#1. The simplest sea buckthorn mask for smooth, supple, and velvety skin.
Squeeze the juice from fresh berries using a piece of gauze, moisten a clean cotton cloth in it, and put it on your face. At the same time, close your eyes and lie down for 20-30 minutes. Then remove the cloth and gently wipe off the remaining juice with a damp towel.
#2. Nourishing mask that eliminates peeling of the skin.
You will need:
Sea buckthorn berries 1/2 tablespoon
Egg yolk 1 piece
of Honey 1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
Mix honey, yolks, and butter, heat the mixture in a water bath, but do not bring it to a boil. Rub the berries into a pulp, add to the rest of the ingredients, and mix thoroughly. Apply the resulting mass to the skin of the face and neck, paying special attention to the places where it flakes off. After 5 minutes, apply another layer of the mask on top, after 5 minutes, do the same until the mixture is over. Hold the mask for a few more minutes and rinse with warm water.
Sea buckthorn mask for oily skin
This mask helps to remove greasy shine from the face and cleanses and moisturizes the skin.
Ingredients:
Sea buckthorn berry puree 1/2 tablespoon
Sour cream 1/2 tablespoon
Crushed oat flakes 1 tablespoon
linseed oil 1/2 tablespoon
Mix the berries, sour cream, and flakes, and add so much linseed oil there to make a pretty thick gruel. Apply the resulting mass on the face for 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and rinse with cold.
Sea buckthorn masks for combination skin
#1. This sea buckthorn mask perfectly nourishes and moisturizes the skin of the face.
Ingredients:
Sea buckthorn berries 1 tablespoon
Egg white 1 piece
of Honey 1 teaspoon
Oatmeal 1 tablespoon
Whisk the protein until foam forms, add honey, oatmeal, and berries, crushed into a pulp. Mix everything well and apply to the face for 20-25 minutes. Then rinse first with warm and then with cold water.
#2. Moisturizing mask with sea buckthorn oil.
You will need:
Sea buckthorn oil 1/2 tablespoon
Egg yolk 1 piece
Yeast 1 teaspoon
Sea buckthorn oil can be bought at a pharmacy, but making it yourself at home is not difficult. Grind the berries in a mortar, squeeze the juice out of them, and strain it through cheesecloth. Pour the resulting juice into a container and let it settle. Oil should form on the surface. Collect it with a spoon, pour it into a separate bowl, and put it in the refrigerator. Pour a little water into the remaining sea buckthorn juice (about one-tenth of the liquid), after 2-3 days, collect the oil again and add to the first portion.
Mix sea buckthorn oil with yolk and fresh yeast, apply to the face, wait until completely dry (the mask should start to crack), then rinse with plenty of warm water.

For the preparation of homemade cosmetics, you can use not only berries but also sea buckthorn leaves. They make an excellent face lotion.
